Womb Continuum Care
Hudson Valley/Catskills region NY
Hands on abdominal and pelvic care for the whole woman
Ceremonial bodywork to support alignment, vitality, and deep connection to your female physiology + womanhood
To tend to the womb is to tend to the whole woman
From menarche through menopause, Womb Continuum care honors the whole woman.
We tune into the rhythms of the heart and womb, the flow of breath and the nervous system, and the ways the body holds experience, memory.
This work is slow, attentive, and relational. It supports increased awareness, embodiment, and a deeper sense of ease in the body - creating space to reconnect with your inner wisdom and the fullness of your womanhood.
Womb Continuum Care weaves fascial techniques rooted in the teachings of Ida Rolf, traditional Mexican womb and belly care (sobadas) , scar support, and whole-woman pelvic centered somatic bodywork.
It is for the woman who:
Is ready to commit to her health, body, and womb
Wants to deepen embodiment and live in alignment with her physiology
Is willing to meet and move through what may be held in her tissues
Seeks a deeper connection to her body, her womb, her truth
for every phase of a woman’s life: menarche, menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause
This work may support women who are navigating:
discomfort or tension in the pelvis or abdomen
stress held in the belly or pelvic region
emotional heaviness stored in the body
scar tissue sensitivity or post-surgical tenderness
postural strain, back tension, or long hours sitting
transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, loss, or menopause
desire to reconnect with the body after a life shift
a longing for deeper embodiment and self-trust
This work is not a substitute for medical care or diagnosis.
A reclamation of bodywork for women, by women.
Women’s health in women’s hands.

FAQs
-
Sessions begin with a brief check-in and visual observation of posture and movement patterns, followed by attentive, hands-on bodywork.
Touch is applied slowly and intentionally, working layer by layer with the superficial and deeper tissues of the belly and pelvis. The emphasis is on listening, presence, and supporting awareness rather than imposing change. Each session is guided by what feels appropriate and supportive for your body in the moment.
-
Sessions are an hour and a half.
After an initial session, I ask clients to commit to a series of 2 or 5 additional sessions scheduled weekly or every other week.
Each session builds on the last, accessing deeper layers over time. This is slow work, not a quick fix.

Please arrive with clean skin, free from oils, moisturizers, or topical creams.
You may be fully undressed, or wear comfortable underwear (that you won’t mind potentially getting some oil on) and a loose tank top or bra (no underwire).
Remove belly button piercings and keep them out for the duration of your care.
Do not consume alcohol, tobacco, vaping, stimulants, or psychedelics. It is essential in this work that you remain fully aware and present in your body.
Avoid cortisone, medicated, or hormonal creams within 48 hours of your session.
It is recommended to avoid other manipulative bodywork (except craniosacral therapy or osteopathy) during your care series.
Our progress together depends entirely on the care and attention you give your body every day. For real, lasting change, some things are non-negotiable: 8+ hours of quality sleep, daily movement, and consistent meals that include animal proteins and enough food.

This work is generally slow and steady, though unfamiliar or strong sensations can sometimes arise. We always work within your comfort and capacity. You are encouraged to communicate openly, and we adjust or pause whenever needed.
-
No. Womb Continuum Care is a holistic, somatic bodywork practice. While it involves hands-on touch, it is not massage therapy, physical therapy, or medical treatment, and it does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
It is a co-created process requiring your commitment and engagement outside of sessions, not a passive spa experience.
-
Some sessions may include optional internal touch as part of a broader somatic bodywork process. This is never included in an initial session, is discussed thoroughly in advance, and requires explicit, informed consent.
Internal work is not sexual, erotic, or medical in nature. Clients are always free to decline or stop any aspect of touch at any time.
-
Yes. Sessions are offered after the first trimester. Techniques are adapted for safety and comfort, with the intention to support the massive changes that are already occurring and create spaciousness, rather than reorganize tissue.
The first trimester is an opportunity for the body to settle in and be still.
-
Postpartum sessions may be scheduled after appropriate rest and recovery periods, depending on birth experience. Timing is discussed individually.
First 40 days postpartum: in-home postpartum care can be booked immediately
-
Yes. Some people choose to receive womb-centered bodywork as part of a broader intention to deepen connection with their body during this phase.
I highly recommend investing in bodywork during your preconception phase for several months before actively trying to conceive.

Yes. Sessions during your bleed are beneficial, as long as you feel comfortable.
-
No. Because this work involves attention to the abdominal and pelvic region, I do not work with women with IUDs.
-
Yes. Sessions are gentle and beneficial for girls and young women. I offer 60 min sessions as young women don’t often have the levels of adhesion, scar tissue, etc. that adults do.
The first session requires a parent to be present; follow-ups are at the parent/child’s discretion.
